Hi Ray, This might not be what you’re looking for, but you can prevent all remote puts to any field of a record by setting its DISP field to a non-zero value. Local DB links can still write to the record and it will
still process normally, but any puts to it through CA or PVA should fail (except for puts to the DISP field, so you can undo that remotely). You could also look at setting up Access Security which can limit when, who and from where puts will be allowed, but this is a more involved change, consult a local expert about that. - Andrew -- Complexity comes for free, Simplicity you have to work for. |
