PVAccess EPICS environment variables

Hi,

While debugging to find a fundamental solution of the issue on https://github.com/epics-modules/iocStats/issues/54, I arrived the magic "string" env_param_list in the https://github.com/epics-modules/iocStats/blob/7f90d165eab546416d09ef9011c61231c2c92570/devIocStats/devIocStatsString.c#L262

That is silently used in iocStats and defined in the EPICS base through envDefs.h

I see clearly, that magic string is defined in

$ tree --charset ascii -L 2 libcom/src/env/
[jeonglee 4.0K]  libcom/src/env/
|-- [jeonglee 3.4K]  bldEnvData.pl

However, I cannot find the corresponding sources in PVAccess modules.

Does anyone know where I can find the similar string or objects in PVAccess?

BTW do we (or someone) review this kind of code changes seriously? Yes, we are busy supporting each facility where we work, and we don't have enough resources, I understand. However, can we work together to make this happen less?

I see now this is a trend in multiple community repositories.
