Subject: | Archiver Appliance - Limit on PVs |

Hello everyone.
I'm doing some testing with the Archiver Appliance and I'm trying to archive 2500 PVs via an XML file. What I've seen is that the first 1000 PVs are archived relatively quickly. But then, the next 1000 PVs take longer to archive and the remaining 500 variables do not even start and stay in the "Initial sampling" state.
These 2500 PVs are synthetic sinusoidal variables that change every 100 milliseconds.
P.D. I've just run another test with the same 2500 PVs but changing every 250 milliseconds instead of every 100 ms. I understand that there is a limit in the data rate that can be archived, but what exactly is that limit?
Thanks in advance, Eusebio.
