Sorry, misunderstood. The PCAS example,
https://github.com/epics-modules/pcas/tree/master/src/template/top/caServerApp, would be your best starting point, but I see how that’s more to type than the python example. Some clients can by now talk both CA and PVA, so maybe implementing the server in PVA is an option?
