Hi Kay,
The pvtools printing code is highly conditional, with zero test coverage.
Regressions are to be expected.
If left to my own devices I will at some point rework the printing code
with test coverage, which would allow me to provide assurances about how
corner cases like yours are handled.
Of course I would welcome someone else spending some time. The pvtools have
not attracted any specific funding (shocking I know). Time I spend on this
is coming out of my pocket.
