What does the Export YAML give you?
I see:

I don't think .appveyor.yml vs appveyor.yml makes a difference so long as
there is only one of the two.
Other than this, the only config I have changed is under General to enable
"Rolling Builds" and "Skip branches without appveyor.yml".
