Extensions packaging in EPICS Software Distribution

    I would like to suggest that the way the EPICS Extensions are available in
the Software Distribution be improved.  At present the Web page suggests that
tar files of unbuilt individual extensions are available, and indeed this is
how I think it should be done.  However, except for medm, what actually exists
is a single 7 MB tar file with all of the extensions, last updated on March
15.  Can we get individual tar files, updated either automatically on some
schedule or whenever the responsible developer releases a new version?
