Hi Everyone,
I am currently working with an MVME2101-1.
This is a very inexpensive PowerPC --- 603e core with 3 PC-MIP slots and PMC
slot.
I have so far successfully integrated a 10/100
BASE-T PC-MIP module and an 8-channel RS232 PC MIP module into the mv2100
BSP.
The driver code was supplied by the vendor,
SBS.
Inorder to do this I had to manually configure the
PCI BARs and Interrrupts. This was not so pleasant but worked.
VxWorks has something called pciAutoConfig which
should do all of this automatically??
Has anyone had any experience in this area? A
nice thing would be a solution such as the one Andrew Johnson (APS) used for
the MVME162, namely the drvIpac interface.
What I am looking for is a drvPCI interface?
This would allow one to integrate PC-MIP/PMC modules on a PowerPC board or
stand-alone carrier.
Thanks,
Ernest L. Williams Jr.
