Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Those of you who were at the ICALEPCS EPICS meeting this year will have
heard me talk about the EPICS Codeathon that is being held at the APS
from April 14th to 18th next year. This message is a call for anybody
who is interested in attending to formally inform me of that (this is
non-binding, I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible if you
need to withdraw for any reason).
Some more information about the Codeathon can be found here:
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/meetings/codeathon.php
We will be limited to 20 people, so I can't promise that everyone who
applies will be able to come depending on the level of demand, but
earlier applications will generally be given preference.
I'm going on vacation and will be incommunicado from Tomorrow until
January 1st, so don't expect any acknowledgments or questions to be
answered before then (sorry!); I wanted to get this message out before i
leave though.

possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something
is impossible, he is very probably wrong. -- Arthur C. Clarke
