Hi All, I have an R3.14.9 Unix IOC running on a Solaris-8 host that
actually has two IP addresses. The 2nd IP is setup for a private
network. When I access a channel from this IOC, it warns me about
multiple IOCs and references both IP addresses assigned to this server, the
primary address and the private network address. I have worked around it by using EPICS_CA_AUTO_ADDR_LIST=NO
and EPICS_CA_ADDR_LIST=’primary IP’ but am curious why this is
happening and if there is another way around this. Thank you, Kevin Tsubota W.M. Keck Observatory |
