Hello Clelia, I haven’t done much work with the SNS module so I’m
sorry I can’t give much advice there. However, it should be worth noting
that as of LabVIEW 2009 the ability to bind process variables to shared
variables is built right in. If you don’t have LabView 2009 you can also
download an EPICS client for LabVIEW 8.6 here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7987 I am not aware if it directly supports waveform data. I do know
that it supports arrays as the record type and as far as I know that’s
what waveform data is. Since this is also officially supported by NI they
should be able to offer you help if you have issues with a particular record
type, their big physics group has been and continues to be very involved in
this development . If you look at the big-physics group under NI I know that
Thierry and Arun have been part of that development and they might be able to
answer your questions in more detail if nobody jumps in here first: http://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/big-physics?view=members ------------------------------------ Pawel Kowalski BiRa Systems Inc. Phone: 505-881-8887 Fax: 505-888-0651 Address: 2410
