Thanks for sharing your experience. I agree that there is room for
improvement when it comes to the documentation of systemd's real-time
settings. In my opinion the zoo of traditional command-line tools isn't
doing that much better, though. On top of that there is the usual
question: which of these tools are still up-to-date/recommended?
Anyway, I figured out how to configure IOC processes started by systemd.
In the next days I will include a description of how to configure
real-time IOCs with systemd in [1]. I will also include some commands
for troubleshooting. MCore utils already includes updated documentation
for systemd [2].
