RE: Std and Base duplicate definition of record type

I suspect your application is confusing std.dbd and stdSupport.dbd.

 

std.dbd is a complete dbd file used for booting the test IOCs in the std module.  It contains the definitions from base.dbd.

 

stdSupport.dbd is the dbd file that you should be including in your application dbd file.

Hello,

I'm compiling an IOC which uses std-R3-6, asyn-R4-36,calc-R3-7-3, StreamDevice-2-8-9, autosave-R5-10, seq-2-2-6 and base R3.15.6 to talk to an equipment.

The IOC was compiling until the implementation of doAfterIocInit() of std.dbd, and use the seqSoftIoc.dbd  . Now when I compile appears these errors

  while reading 'std.dbd' to create 'cryostream800.dbd'

Context: recordtype(mbbi) in file '/usr/local/epics-nfs/modules/R3.15.6/synApps/R6.1/support/seq-2-2-6/dbd/seqSoftIoc.dbd' in recordtype(sub) in file '/usr/local/epics-nfs/modules/R3.15.6/synApps/R6.1/support/std-R3-6/dbd/std.dbd'

  while reading 'seqSoftIoc.dbd' to create 'cryostream800.dbd'

I need these modules to implement some functions, but I can't figure out if the std.dbd has base.dbd included or how to fix it.
