Chitra, Are you looking for undergraduate or graduate students? Are you expecting that folks will need to be on-site, or can this work be accomplished remotely? Thanks, Greg -- Gregory Leblanc Accelerator Engineer Edwards Accelerator Lab - Ohio University 123 University Terrace Athens, OH 45701 USA M: (401) 52-OUAL1 or (401) 526-8251 From: Tech-talk <tech-talk-bounces at aps.anl.gov> On Behalf Of
Chitra Venkataraman via Tech-talk Use caution with links and attachments. AXILON is looking for a student who would be interested in supporting us with short-term EPICS projects, specifically creating EPICS IOCs for control of components built by AXILON. This would involve integrating relevant field signals like
motor control, encoder, analog I/Os via PLCs, some scripting using e.g. Python, C, C++, and developing user interfaces. To a large extent, existing EPICS modules can be used to interface to the control hardware, however custom development may also be required
in specific cases. If interested, please contact us at
