We have an Epics Bit3 driver (Developed by DESY, written by Pavel 
Shevtsov) Our Bit3 iterfaces our PCMs to the VME. The driver is simple
read/write blocks and the "DeviceSupport" routine realises the protocol
between the two computers. You can contact me (bee hurry, from 26th of
