Or alternatively, you can use the new version of edif2sr,
e2sr v2.1.0, which has been recently made available in EPICS
extensions. You can obtain a copy directly from me if
you do not have access to the 3.12Beta releases at APS.
Use "-t" with e2sr to remove trailing numerics.
I'll send e2sr's current release notes to anyone interested,
but under separate cover.
