Hello All,
Here's a novice question. I'm starting to set up the hardware for
our beamline (all dealings with EPICS so far have been theoretical(!)), and
so I'm trying to interface my first module, the XVME-566.
Naturally, there are numerous jumpers and options. CSR addresses,
data RAM addresses, interrupt levels etc. Quite a jumble for the first
module.
Can anyone give me a quick, simple, tutorial on what the appropriate
values should be, and how these might relate to the DCT VME parameters
Card/Signal/Parameter?
The EPICS device & record support information that I have (basically
that on the WWW) doesn't go into this in sufficient detail. Any help would be
much appreciated....
Tony
