Should the proposed (and, yes, still unimplemented) macro library provide
support for:

a) returning a list of declared macro names?

b) differentiating between a defined but empty macro and a declared
   but undefined macro?

If so, it could be used for this dm application, where "BLDG" is declared
but undefined and "BLDG=" is defined but empty.

I think the only changes to macLib would be to add a new macGetNames()
or macGetmacros() routine to return an array of names, and to change
setting a macro to a NULL value to mean that the name is retained in the
list but marked as undefined (rather than deleting the name from the
list as I had intended).
