The way that EPICS is supported/distributed/maintained designates
a specific site that is responsible for porting/testing
new releases on each of the less frequently used OS. For most sites
installing EPICS base should be simply a matter of loading the source code,
configuring the system, and running the make files. We do hope,
however, that "EVERYONE" will report any bugs that they see to tech-talk.
Are you requesting that we distribute EPICS in object code form?
