I am trying to run the XYCOM 566 ADC board in
single-ended, unipolar, 0-10V mode WITHOUT AN EXTERNAL
TRIGGER. I want the clocks on the board to trigger
the data conversion without using an external triggering
mechanism that comes in through pin 50 of the JK1
input connector on the front of the card. Has anyone
successfully done this? If so, what do I need to do
to make it happen here?
I have a set of jumper settings from Bob Dalesio that
works with the single-ended scanned EPICS driver/device
support as long as I have an external trigger coming
in on pin 50 of JK1. When I remove the external
trigger the card reads back exactly zero on all 32
channels.
I have talked to XYCOM, and they sent me some source for
programming the clocks to trigger the board internally.
Unfortunately, that did not work.
Thanks for any information!
