Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi everyone.
I've got a new mv162 that needs its flash memory
programmed for vxWorks boot. I've tried to follow
John's instuctions from a couple of years ago, but I
can't even get started.
In his instructions (can be found with list server
archive search from EPICS page at APS), he says to
connect at 9600 bps, then switch it to 4800 with the
command "pf 0". When I type "pf 0" I get "f0" echoed.
It doesn't seem to get the "p" or the space. For that
matter, I can hit "return" all I want and nothing ever
happens (before or after this command).
Can anyone help me get this silly thing loaded?
BTW, isn't there a way to dump it from one 162 to
another? I've got two others that had been set up (by
John) a while back. If there's a less painful way to do
this, I'm all ears.
Thanks in advance.
