But where should makeBaseApp.pl get the name from if there's no file of
that name? Why ".wind"? "Wind River"? "WinDD"?
Do you use the makeBaseApp.pl matching your base version?
(With EPICS base 3.13.1 "more `which makeBaseApp.pl`" should show a CVS
version 1.15 of 1998/06/23 in line 5.)
Did the perl line in my last mail create reasonable output?
If so, I do not have any clue. Why should the same perl functions behave in
such a strange way if called from within a script?
I cannot reproduce this kind of error on my system (HP-UX). And I tried.
Any perl and sunos gurus around?
