SOFTWARE ENGINEER:  GEMINI OBSERVATORY (www.gemini.edu) is seeking software
engineers with the ability to design, develop and maintain the Gemini
Telescope software systems.   We are looking for individuals with experience
in hardware control, user interface design, and internet applications.
Positions require excellent verbal and written skills in order to determine
software requirements, document/implement software changes, and work within
a dynamic team environment.  Minimum requirement:  BS in computer science or
a related field. Proficiency in Java, C++, databases, TCL/TK, EPICS,
VxWorks, and knowledge of astronomy is desirable.  Must be willing to travel
and either possess or obtain a valid passport for international travel.
Some work will be performed at 14,000 ft.  . For additional information,
