Certain older versions of EPICS are not supported by the portable server embedded in the gateway. EPICS R3.13 runs on VMS, but a VMS port of R3.14 has not been done to the best of my knowledge although this is theoretically possible if you have DEC threads installed. The EPICS build system might even run on VMS if you have the DEC shell product installed. You will also need the DEC C/C++ product. Jeff
