Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
I just had a problem swapping a system from a Heurikon board to a PPC
mvme2400.
It turned out that I had a VME board (VMIC4514) that responded to either
supervisory or user A16 I/O, but couldn't be set to respond to both. It
was set to respond to supervisory mode I/O because that is what I thought
all VxWorks BSP's used. However, this worked with the Heurikon
board, but didn't work with the PPC.
Has anyone seen this before. Does anyone have a hint as to the bit of the
Motorola BSP I have to change to make it use supervisory VME access?
I apologise that this is really a VxWorks question, but I often find the
tech-talk list a lower bandwith option with equally good results.
Cheers,
