Reference Temperature Monitoring with PT-100s
Here at Hytec we do an IP Card (the 8403) which can be coupled with
8913P Din Rail Breakout Box, this gives you 14 PT-100s for about 1200
euros (85 per channel). By changing the 8913P to 8913T the IP Card can
use thermocouples instead.
A possible solution for anyone after a VME / IP Carrier Solution.
EPICS drivers and software support provided free.

Here with BESSY we ar going to install an version of our ADA-Card that
offers in the VME-Bus version 32 temperature channels for PT100 sensors.
This Card is delivered by EuKontrol and is about 2500 EUR, that means 78
EUR/channel. We use here the 3HE-Version with 16 channels per card and
controlled via our embedded controler and the CAN-Bus. There is device
support for EPICS available. A good feature is that this card uses the
same long time stable integrating AD converter as all our ADA-Cards and
so it is best suited in noisy environment with long cables to the
sensor. I want to mention it because we had some trouble with that
before.
