I'd like to use the php epics module but I meet some difficulties. When I am trying to launch the test_ca_get_put.php example :

<snip>

from a web browser, I have the following display :

*"Warning*: dl(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/php_epics.so' - libCom.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in */var/www/html/ImmsData/test_ca_get_put.php* on line *3"

*although the path to php_epics.so is correct.*
*Does anybody know what's going on ?

Well the error message you're getting says "I can't load the php_epics.so library because it in turn needs to load libCom.so which I can't find."

Run 'ldd /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/php_epics.so' to find out where it's trying to get libCom.so from - it's part of EPICS Base so should be installed in your base/lib/<host-arch> directory, but if you didn't compile that php_epics.so file on the web server machine then it might not be present. In this case you should be able to fix it by copying libCom.so to the /usr/local/lib/php/extensions directory (you may also need libca.so in there as well).
