I installed "ALL OPTIONS" when installing Fedora Core 6. Installation took a little less than 6 Gigabytes. The only thing
else needed is OpenMotif.
I took the following two RPM files from Fedora Core 5
installation CD4 and installed them on Fedora Core 6:
openmotif-2.3.0-0.1.9.2.i386.rpm
openmotif-devel-2.3.0-0.1.9.2.i386.rpm
Next I compiled EPICS R3.14.8, then the facility code, and executed the facility code. It works!
FWIW, installing openmotif-2.3.0 (beta) from source (on an amd64 debian-testing) went absolutely straight forward for me. In contrast to older versions of OpenMotif, which had a strange build system, the latest versions needs only the usual './configure; make; make install' routine. (You might, however, need to install one or two additional devel packages from your distro.)
