I’m pleased to announce to tech-talk that we managed to open the shutters and get light onto the first beamline (Protein Crystallography) yesterday. Attached is a picture showing this achievement and our PX Beamline Scientists, Julian Adams and Ruth Plathe.
Thanks to all in the community and this forum who have contributed their code, words, advice and time. Also special thanks to my controls team and our contractors for their hard dedicated work and a “can do” attitude.
All the Australian Synchrotron Beamlines will have EPICS based controls.
