Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Version 2.9 of my Ipac driver is now available for download from
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/modules/bus/ipac/index.html
The VME carrier drivers in this release are fully OSI-compliant and
should work on any platform that provides a devLib VMEbus interface.
Eric Norum contributed a version of the tyGSOctal driver converted to
RTEMS, and Andy Foster gave me a head start in writing a new carrier
driver for the Xycom XVME-9660 and -9670 boards (also sold by Acromag
under similar model numbers). This release also recognizes the IP
modules with VITA Format-2 ID PROMs, which some manufacturers such as
Hytec use.

possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something
is impossible, he is very probably wrong. -- Arthur C. Clarke
