I just found a version of snapCmp.pl written by a former colleague here at BESSY back in '96 - see appended file.

Which version of SaveRestore are you using? Since it needs snapCmp.pl, it must be the one developed here at BESSY
(awful code, but a good working horse here since day one)... Any problems/feedback/suggestions?
