I'm looking into running EPICS under LINUX on a VME IOC. To that end I have been looking at various Linux VME drivers for the Tundra Universe Chip.

1) VMELinux project ( http://www.vmelinux.org/ ) Frozen in 2001, 2.2 kernel.
2) sourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/universe2/ ) This workes well enough for vme io but interrupt handling has failed for me so far.
3) Vendor supplied driver for one of the vme processor boards in use at TRIUMF.

I note that the libCom OSI libraries have vme support for vxWorks and RTEMS only. Before I start working on Linux support is anybody working along similar lines or have any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

Graham
