Hello Emma,

in that setup your client IOC should see the beacons from the CA Gateway 
pointing its server side to the IOC - can you tell me the CA 
configurations of the two Gateway processes? (I.e. all their EPICS_* 
environment variables and/or command line options - I was not referring 
to the PV related configuration files in this case.)
