Pierrick,As you know, edm can be a pain to configure. Start by reading the chapter on configuration in the user's manual at http://ics-web.sns.ornl.gov/edm/edmUserManual
Examine $EDMOBJECTS/edmObjects and $EDMOBJECTS/edmPvObjects and make sure all library references make sense.
Also, do ldd `which`/edm and make sure the library locations are what you expect.
