I would like to know if anyone in the Epics community has written a GPIB device driver for the Stanford Research Systems, Inc. Model PS310 high voltage power supply... http://www.teknetelectronics.com/Search.asp?p_ID=15873&pDo=DETAIL Regards--Jim S.
Jim, There is "unreleased" support for the 300 series in use at the APS (XOR 8-ID). They are using the PS350. Let me know if you want to try it. The support is asyn/streams based. I have found the GPIB interface to these devices a bit flacky and required that the GPIB controller be in 'timeout mode' for it to be reliable. The result was a very slow (2 times sec) update rate. SRS insisted that there is not a know problem with the unit (shrug).
