MEDM has a manual that is available online. Google search for "EPICS
MEDM manual" shows these two URLs as the first two suggestions:
* http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/extensions/medm/index.php
*
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/EpicsDocumentation/ExtensionsManuals/MEDM/MEDM.html
The second URL is the manual and the first URL provides other related
information about MEDM.
However, the MEDM manual does not provide an example that says :
1: configure your IOC with these databases and process variables
and hardware and driver support and ...
2: use this MEDM (.adl) file)
3. follow these steps ...
Step 1 is out of scope with the MEDM application. Either you will
need to learn how to start an EPICS IOC or you already have a working
IOC from which you wish to display EPICS process variables (PVs). The
MEDM manual assumes you already have some working knowledge of your
system, at least to the extent that you know the names of your PVs and
what fields are provided.
Can you identify your situation with some more details? It's not
clear whether you need technical assistance with a problem related
specifically to the use of MEDM or that perhaps you need beginner's
instruction about EPICS.
