You are telling it that your VIPC616 is set up for A16 address 0x0000.
Is this correct? I've always put my cards at higher addresses than
this.

Subject: Ipac with VIPC616
Hey All,
I'm trying to setup a SBS VIPC616 with one IP-OCTAL-232 IP-pack. The
jumper settings on the carrier have been checked and are correct. After
issuing ipacAddVIPC616, the module is still not found. Here's what I
see
on the IOC:
vxwrks@iocfel7 -> ipacAddVIPC616("0x0000,0x0A000000")
value = 0 = 0x0
vxwrks@iocfel7 -> ipacReport(2)
IP Carrier 0: SBS/GreenSpring VIPC616, 4 slots
C0 S0 : No Module
ID = 0xfbff0080, I/O = 0xfbff0000, Mem = 0x12000000
C0 S1 : No Module
ID = 0xfbff0180, I/O = 0xfbff0100, Mem = 0x12800000
C0 S2 : No Module
ID = 0xfbff0280, I/O = 0xfbff0200, Mem = 0x13000000
C0 S3 : No Module
ID = 0xfbff0380, I/O = 0xfbff0300, Mem = 0x13800000
value = 0 = 0x0
I've tried this with Ipac and Asyn version already installed here at
Jlab
and have setup my own using ipac-2.8 and asyn-4.11. Any ideas on why
the
module is not being initialized?
