Elliott, This is true such project exists. I am developing pure LabVIEW version of CA protocol. Unfortunately my priority was quite low for this project. I hope to have some public beta (alpha?) version in June-July 2010. This implementation will work pretty much everywhere where one can run LabVIEW (except probably embedded/FPGA platforms). It is known to run on: Windows/Mac/Linux/CompactRIO.
