Phil Brown's letter implies that there is a range of boards affected, because the problem started when "a change in a component by the manufacturer ... worked into our supply". So there is a lower limit to the serial numbers, below which we don't need to worry about the problem. Does OMS know, in terms of serial numbers, about where the problem crept in? I don't want to send back any boards unnecessarily.

With their permission, I am passing along an announcement from OMS concerning the reliability of their MAXv motor controller.
The short synopsis is; there was a problem, they have diagnosed it,
all boards after s/n 966 are fixed and they are offering to fix any boards
before s/n 967 for free.
