Hi Emma,

Does your Moxa run on Linux or Windows? Mine is Linux and I use the 
local program /bin/setinterface to select the mode (RS232, RS482 2 wire, 
RS422, RS485 4 wire).

When running EPICS on the Moxa, you can do this from the EPICS startup 
script with the 'system' command (3.14.12) or from inside StreamDevice 
with the 'exec' command.
