Follow Benjamin's suggestion of commenting out the "DIRS += cap5" line in the
src/Makefile

Perl is essential for building EPICS software, but it doesn't need the other
executables such as podchecker or pod2html that are used in src/cap5. If you
don't have any other issues with the build then your Perl installation is
probably working sufficiently, although eventually you might want to try re-
installing it.
