Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
dirk,
fyi:
the ebrick has been running the vector linux (v5.1 standard) os
with a 2.6.19 linux kernel with a real-time patch (kernel) from osadl
(http://www.osadl.org). applying the patch was pretty straight
forward. the group provided test applications to measure the
results after applying the patch. i applied the patch a few years
ago, but i think the group still offers it. it might be worth checking
it out: https://www.osadl.org/Realtime-Linux.projects-realtime-linux.0.html
we've been happy with it and has been running in several of our beamlines
for quite sometime now.

Hi Folks,
Has anyone considered porting EPICS to Xenomai real-time Linux?
Maybe even started working on this issue?
It looks quite straight forward to me to write the os dependent part but I
want to avoid duplicating work probably already done.
