Hi everyone,
Varian Medical Systems currently has openings for embedded and control software engineers, including EPICS developers.  We build a 250 MeV superconducting proton cyclotron with beamlines supplying multiple clinical areas for cancer treatment.  Our first complete system is installed in Munich, and we are now designing and implementing our next generation product, the first installation of which will be in San Diego, California.

These positions are primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area of California, and you can find details online at http://www.varian.com/us/corporate/careers/job_search.html (search for the keyword EPICS on the pages that follow).  There will also be more opportunities posted over time.

If you're interested to find out more about our system, feel free to contact me.

cheers
-doug
