Subject: | EDM file listing display... |

We currently have a list of saved settings that we use to set up our machine for various energies and particle types. We manipulate (save, restore, print, delete) these saved sets by using an EDM screen that invokes linux shell scripts.
However, when we want to display a list of the saved set files, we invoke a C program that uses the X-windows library to display the directory listing and handle the mouse selection and "ok" and "cancel" button. This works for us currently, but it is pretty much a house of cards, and any time we want to re-order how the list is displayed, we have to go into the C code and make changes.
Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Any suggestions/advice? Thanks... Dave Reid University of Washington Medical Center
