Hi all.Has anyone here had problems with EDM rendering on Xorg x86 X servers (Linux)? Specifically, bleed through from EDM into windows overlapping EDM windows, and also incorrect rendering of overlapping (rectangle) regions when using color rules to for visibility and color?
We use a method of stacking rectangles of different colors, and applying visibility rules to expose one of the rectangles, to produce the effect of a variable color LED. Usually there is a bottom layer rectangle with static color and visibility, and one or more identically sized and positioned rectangles 'above' it, with visibility rules attached to PVs.
We recently upgraded some control room consoles to SL6, and have seen identical pages rendered differently at the same time (on different hosts). This is with EDM running on the console, and also displaying on the console X server. Similar and other problems have been witnessed with other Motif applications on non-production hosts (so undocumented), so I am suspicious that the Motif library may be part of the problem (Open Motif). Does anyone use specific versions/configurations/packages for Motif support?
