Hi Terry,
I've been bothered by the same lack of alignment in
our edm text controls.   Your email got me thinking about
it and I looked into it more.    It appears the root problem
is that the motif XmTextField widget that this edm widget
is based on does not support alignment!

There are some commercial solutions
Oracle Complex Text Layout Extensions to Motif
ICS Motif EnhancementPak
but I haven't found any open src solution yet.

Does anyone know if this has been fixed in later version of EDM or is it a function of using motif? The widget font justification works as expected if motif isn't selected, unfortunately you are then left with a separate dialog box opening for input. Any help would be appreciated, before I try to tear into the widget code myself to see if I can fix the problem.
