Hello Yasemin -
MEDM uses the color "white" to indicate it cannot connect to the PV that is specified in the widget. You must have an IOC running which has that PV in its database.
You might want to start with the examples described in the Application Developers Guide.

1. White screen displayed instead of the monitor objects when using execute mode. As you can see below image:
