The first production release of the ASYN USB TMC support module is available for downloads. This support module provides an asynOctet port that communicates with USB devices that implement the USB TMC (Test and Measurement Class) protocol. The support module uses the libusb-1.0 library and as such requires no special privileges or kernel drivers and should work across all platforms that support libusb-1.0. http://sourceforge.net/p/epics/wiki/ASYN%20USB%20TMC%20Support/ The driver has been tested on Linux and OS X with assorted devices including an oscilloscope, a signal generator, a power meter and a magnetometer. -- Eric Norum [email protected]
