Hi Pete, Jeff, We use a large number of cameras (including both Princeton cameras through PICam, and Photmetrics cameras through PVCam) - here at CCFE for spectroscopy applications. PICam cameras were deployed last year. My software for doing this is not EPICS–integrated because CCFE has, historically, not worked with EPICS. However, CCFE is now taking a strong, strategic, interest in EPICS and my management would consider the possibility of some kind of collaborative effort, if that’s an option. Cheers, Peter. From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gebhardt, Jeffrey R. Yes I have just started looking at it. There are a couple of beamlines at APS that are interested in it as well. Jeff From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Currently we control a Princeton Instruments PIXIS camera using areaDetector and the PVCam library on 32 bit windows. In order to support the camera on native 64 bit windows its necessary to move to Princetons 64 bit PICam library. Has anyone already started to look at upgrading areaDetector to use PICam?
