Yes I have just started looking at it. There are a couple of beamlines at APS that are interested in it as well.

Currently we control a Princeton Instruments PIXIS camera using areaDetector and the PVCam library on 32 bit windows.
In order to support the camera on native 64 bit windows its necessary to move to Princetons 64 bit PICam library. Has anyone already started to look at upgrading areaDetector to use PICam?
